Our Objectives |

The objective of our club is simple, we want to
give Single people in Somerset the opportunity to have a quality
social Life. |

We will give you the opportunity to meet new
people, make new friends and dramatically improve your free time. |
|
Although we don't call ourselves a 'singles
club', we only accept membership applications from single people. |
|
As an extension of our highly successful
Romancing dating business, we of course welcome members who's
intention it is to meet a prospective new partner through our great
new friendship club DontWaitUp. |
|
Many of you will join us for differing reasons,
some to find friendship, some to find love and many to improve their
social life. |
|
We want your membership of our club to be
enjoyable, exciting, and fun!!!!! |
|
We are inviting membership from those of you over
30 years of age and fully expect a healthy number of members at all
ages upwards of 30, so whether your 35, 45, 55 or even 105 we will
probably have new single people for you to meet, make friends with
and most importantly, have great times with. |
|
When we advertise an event, details of the
location will only be given privately to members. We do not
advertise ourselves as a singles club at any of our events, as far
as anyone else at the location is concerned, we're just a group of
friends having a pleasant evening out. The only locations we do
advertise on this site are events like a Concert or a Theatre, on
these occasions we usually meet up at a nearby location first and go
on to the events afterwards. We do this because we feel your
comfort, security and privacy are of paramount importance. |

We will provide a special 'eyes only' (very James
Bond lol) members webpage, providing information and beneficial
payment opportunities not open to non members. This members only
section of our website will also contain information about events
that we don't wish to make known to the general public....The page
will be removed (thus making it more secure) from the internet at
the end of each Month with a new page replacing it. All paid up
members will receive this new webpage link via email as soon as it
goes live. |

Our History |
|

Our original dating business,
Romancing.co.uk started in 2003,
offering Online dating advice and dating site recommendations. |
|
|
|
On September 19th 2005 we organised our very
first event, a speed dating evening held at the Corner House Hotel
in Taunton. Since then we have held many very successful singles
events in various local locations. |
|
|
|
Currently we are operating our Romancing.co.uk
Dating events from The Firestone bistro bar in the centre of Taunton
and plan to expand these to other Somerset Towns in conjunction with
the anticipated demand from DontWaitUp.co.uk members. |
|
|
|
In mid 2006, due to the many requests from our
daters, we launched our very own online dating service
Datable.co.uk. This free to
join dating site has proven to be very successful and has many
Somerset based members among its current membership of just over
1000. |
|
|
|
Along with Datable.co.uk we also offer our daters
the opportunity to join DatingDirect.com,
with whom we have been proudly affiliated since 2004. Dating Direct
currently has over 4 million members throughout the UK, but more
importantly to us, it offers a fantastic service to our members
right here in Somerset. |
